La Pine will be home to the 2020 PINEFROST FESTIVAL, a two-day event taking place on Fri., Feb. 7 and Sat., Feb. 8. The festivities begin at 5:00 pm on Friday at the La Pine Park and Recreation District Community Center with the Frontier Day's beer and wine bar. "A Taste of Winter" dinner will be served at 6:00 pm ($15 per adult/$5 for kids under 10) followed by live music and dancing. On Sat. from 8:00 am to 11:00 am, the La Pine Lions Club will be offering a pancake breakfast. The activities continue with a 5K fun run, cribbage tournament, bingo, vendors, and food carts. End the day with live music and dancing from 5:30 pm to 8:00 pm. On both days, La Pine Lion's Club Health Screenings will be available at the La Pine Community Health Center (Noon to 5 pm on Fri. and 10 am to 3 pm on Sat.)
