Village & Business Park
Greeting
visitors, vacationers and residents alike at Sunriver’s main entrance is the
quaint
Village at Sunriver,
the community’s commercial and retail core. Here you will find a variety of
retail stores offering sporting goods, equipment sales and rentals, clothing,
gifts, arts and crafts, home accessories, books, groceries, ice cream and candy,
and more. Kids will enjoy the ice skating rink, indoor mini-golf, and giant
inflatable slide.
Commercial
services in the Village include a bank, ATM machines, real estate sales and
property management offices, title companies and mortgage companies.
Dining in Sunriver is casual, family-friendly and a vacationer’s delight. Choose
from Italian, Mexican, American, Hawaiian and Portuguese restaurants. Coffee
shops, a bakery, pizza to go, and even an old fashioned soda fountain round out
this unique selection of eateries in the Village.
The
Village also serves as Sunriver’s gathering place for
community events.
Quilt shows, wine and food festivals, exotic car shows, running and cycling
competitions, and other fun activities occur throughout the year.
Built nearly 40 years ago, the
Village at Sunriver
is about to undergo a $250-million redevelopment. Construction of this new
mixed-use resort village is anticipated to begin in 2008-2009.
The
Sunriver Business Park, across from Sunriver’s main entrance on
South Century Drive, hosts a wide range of other local businesses and services.
These include a gas station, car wash, laundry, veterinarian, dentist, doctor,
physical therapist, chiropractor, acupuncturist, car repair, florist, beauty
salon, barber shop, hardware store, day care center, bookkeeping & office
services, restaurants, video rental, realtors, K-8 public school, public
library, and post office.
